ARENA Commercialisation of R&D Funding Initiative Extra

We're excited to share that the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) will offer our ON Prime teams the chance to apply to a $1 million funding initiative, for $100 000 kick-start grants to help commercialise renewable energy ideas.

As part of this, ARENA will also run a national, one-day Renewable Energy Commercialisation Workshop. Here, teams will meet leaders and experts in the renewable energy sector, including industry representatives and potential commercialisation partners.

What is ARENA looking for?

To be eligible to apply for an ARENA Commercialisation of R&D Funding Initiative Pilot grant, teams must complete ON Prime and attend the ARENA Commercialisation Workshop during ON Prime this winter.

Specifically, ARENA will be looking to support ON Prime teams who are developing innovative technologies that have the potential to create new solutions for delivering secure, reliable and affordable renewable energy (including hybrid and enabling technologies).

After completing ON Prime, teams can apply for a Commercialisation of R&D Funding Initiative Pilot grant from 5 August to 2 September 2019.
